This was addressed a while (years?) back on this list. We also have the smoke
white. White base then so many drops of brown, yellow and red as I recall.
When I get a moment will see if I can find it in my records

Yes, measure the diameter, and order a Plastic rod of Delrin or Nylon, probably
Delrin, from McMaster Carr and cut it with a hacksawr.

Well, yesterday was the rollover date for the GPS satellite system. Experts
thought some older GPS units would not be able to handle the rollover.
I just fired up my old Garmin 128 (circa1999) fixed mount and Garmin 72
handheld. Both seem to be accurate.
If you have a vintage GPS I suggest
I'd be really interested in finding out the colour code for my newly

Has anyone with a 37/40 installed a bilge drain for winter? I am interested in
knowing the thickness of the keel stub before I start drilling. It looks like
it’s about one inch but its really hard to tell. The bilge is deep and maybe
3-4 inches wide so a pilot hole is going to be a significant
Hi,
I understand that most, if not all, C use a keel-stepped mast, with the
theory being that it provides for a stiffer boat and better performance (I
think). Did they ever use deck-stepped, perhaps on the Landfall series? Has
anyone tried converting one to deck-stepped?
For cruising, especially
Good suggestions all. I was able to get my hands on an AwlGrip card. It
seems that I'm in the neighborhood of Insignia White, Fleet White or Off
White.
Kinda surprising as it appeared there was more of a gray tone.
Thanks for the help.

A keel stepped mast can be lighter in cross section compared to a deck stepped
mast - in engineering terms the deck stepped mast is a un-constrained column
