After a race on Sunday, my crew discovered a crack in the boom. It extends across the boom for about an inch on each side of the boom, and it's located just aft of the vang attachment. The attachment is made out of aluminum, and it looks like the welds are also cracked. Has anyone on the list

If you haven't played with a Raspberry Pi they are pretty incredible. Cheap and powerful. Multi boot but native linux. $35 and the run OpenCPN. You can find all manner of 12v HDMI screens that it will drive. Or just go get a laptop with 12v charger. I still need to look at the compustick.

Hello All, Now that the boat (35-3) is on the hard, I was able to clean the engine and try to locate the source of my oil leak(s). It appears that the culprit is the dipstick! The rubber seal no longer is able to stay in place, rises up and allows oil out of the crankcase when under power.
