Colorado is lucky to have a group of volunteer compilers for the Rare
Bird Alert (Allison Hilf, Ira Sanders, and Dick Schottler). I had planned
a trip from May 20 to June 10. None of the regulars were

Vista, CO. to two nights June 7 8. River was just roaring! Got our
fav spot which is rare. I think because the screaming river rats
haven't invaded the valley just yet, due to high water. It was nice

Nunn Road aka LCR 64 aka WCR 100 is home to quite a few roadside
active raptor nests. Going west (Wellington) to east (WCR 100 in
Nunn) we have active Swainson's, Red-tailed, Golden Eagle, Swainson's,
