Stopped at Red Rocks this afternoon shortly after 1:00 p.m. and ran
into Forrest Luke from the Craig area. As some of us suspected, there
are two White-throated Sparrows. This is the first time (that I know
of) that the two have been seen at the same time at the feeders. In

I was asked about the Fountain Creek CBC Field Sparrow as one was reported from
Fountain Creek Regional Park apparently. The bird that was found on the CBC
was not at the park but at a private residence quite a distance from the park.
So if there is a Field Sparrow at FCRP it would

About 20 years ago at Pt. Reyes, California, a bird was called an immature
northern shrike (say, in November). About a month or two later someone

documentation was provided by us or circle.

I do require written documentation or photo for ALL Loggerhead Shrikes north of
Monument Hill, and east of there, as well as in the mountains on any Colorado
Christmas Bird Count. Make sure to include how you eliminated Northern Shrike,
the more likely species. Thanks.
