Yesterday, Sunday, Nov. 6th, I birded the north shore of Boulder Reservoir,
Boulder County, before and for a while after sunrise; and McIntosh Reservoir,
Boulder County, for a while before sundown.
Boulder Rez had a Red-necked Grebe, perhaps the one found a little while ago by

Michael Kiessig and I visited the Wheatridge Greenbelt in Jefferson Co. at
mid-day. The highlight was an excellent look at a female Merlin of the taiga
race. A beautiful bird! The bird was seen north of the creek in the area just
west of Tabor Lake.

I was unable to make it to Fremont on Saturday or Sunday so this morning I met
Brandon Percival and we poked around Fremont county just a little. There were
a few Yellow-rumped Warblers in Florence but beyond that not much else at the
locations we visited. On the road in to the

Riverwalk today at mid-morning. It was where we saw it yesterday morning
