Hi All,
After looking at Rob Raker's photos for the first time last night (see
link below), the bird I reported on 9-28-12 as a Pine Warbler turns
out to be a Blackpoll Warbler. The link to Rob's photos is found below.

The adult Red-necked Grebe found last Sat. by Ted Floyd was working the
shallow waters very close to the far western shore this morning. The raft
of birds in the center of Lagerman Res. had a nice number of Ruddy Ducks
(27) in among the Western Grebes and coots.

Longmont,
The Yellow-throated Vireo that I saw this morning, didn't hang out too long in
the bushes and trees, where I first saw the bird. Clif Smith came over fairly
quickly, and we couldn't re-find the bird. It was with some other birds, and

Early today I found a Black-and-white Warbler hanging out with a Townsend's

Thanks to Setta Moss, I found the acorn woodpeckers at Pubelo Mtn. Park
yesterday. They were right on the advertised. Working away on their

tall, old, brittle, ponderosa! I may be mistaken, but I think I saw three
