Another very good day for mid-October. Yellow-rumpeds continue, along with
White-crowned Sparrow and Juncos. The big birds - Flickers, Jays,
Red-winged Blackbirds, Magpies - are around and noisy, taunting us from the
trees above the nets. Here's the breakdown of the 44 new birds for the day:
Still present at 430. Probably best viewed from Jeff co side boat ramp on N
end.

update. Following suit so others know it's still active there. At about 1:30
myself, John Drummond, and Jeannie Mitchell saw the Pomarine Jaeger at
Chatfield Reservoir (Douglas Co) from the rocky point by the
Mark Chavez and I observed the Jaeger in several spots this morning. Still
present. Seems to like the area between the fishing pier by the marina and by
the north boat ramp area.
