I must've missed the report, nor can I find it. When/where? I also live

at it. My once-ever Am. Bittern was a stroke of blind luck, and subsequent
attempts to get her on one have been fruitless.

This morning I was sure I heard gulls calling from high up, somewhere
between me (Sedalia/west Plum Creek) and Devils Head in Douglas County,
seemed to be flying south along the foothills. I used to live in NJ, so I
thought I knew gull noises. Does anyone else hear gulls?

I can assure you, from the shade of red of my eyes, I could not find the
American Bittern as of 1330 today. I looked for 2 hours. The winds were
calm, so the cattails were still. The east side of the marsh is being
dredged, and they are doing road construction on MLK Blvd. If anyone gets

The Say's phoebes have been here for two weeks, but although they chitter-churr
on the house ledges from time to time, they are delaying nestsite location
decisions until after COVID has leveled off. Anyway, last year they

The first Colorado Field Ornithologists fantasy birding league game is
wrapping up this weekend. Our current leader is Cole Sage with 166
Colorado species but there are others close behind.
I am looking to gauge interest in starting another game after this one
concludes, so if you have interest
