Hey,
I was the original reporter of the el paso county Great Crested Flycatcher. My
ebird observation is still there and the bird was photographed, photos are on
my checklist. If you look in the el paso county rarity alerts you can find it.
Just letting you know so you can include the
, a Wilsons Warbler, and FOS
Plumbeous Vireo, Warbling Vireos, and Western Wood-Pewee rounded out a very
birdy few hours. Also had a Bobcat being scolded by the Great Horned Owls
nesting just south of the Nature Center.

California, Ring-billed, and a few Franklin's Gulls...a 5 gull sp. day in
July in the San Luis Valley, not to shabby.

The Western Gull continues at Blanca Wetlands (Alamosa Co.) today, still on
the pond on the road to South Mallard (115).
A Whimbrel was a nice surprise too, also on 115.
I'll attach my photos of both to my ebird checklist later today or tomorrow.

in Junction Canyon yesterday, the bird was about a 1/3 of a mile
up the trail that leads up canyon from the hairpin turn below the Nat'l
Forest campground.
