walked Weld CR 114/85 SE corner and had four visual sightings of
Chestnut-collared and 3+ audio out in the far fields. Dover Reservoir had
Golden Eagle and American Crow (rare for Nunn). Crom Lake had lots of

Yesterday morning while proceeding to work from Shields Osprey nest I saw
about 30-40 vultures ascending into thermals in and around Mountain-quite a
sight.

Weld CR 124/122 ponds had spring ducks, no shorebirds sans Killdeer. Only
migrants on Pawnee NG Birding Driving tour were a lone Mourning Dove and

I walked around Weld CR 114/Hwy 85 SE corner this morning hoping for an
early Chestnut-Collared Longspur--just Horned Lark and Western Meadowlark
today. This is often deemed as a can't miss spot for Chestnuts in

This morning had four Bald Eagle (2 ad, 2 imm) at WCR 84/31 marsh and 3
Lesser Black-backed Gull (adults) with 2 Herring Gull and host of
Ring-billeds at Drake Lake. We were in Nebraska last four days (billions
of Snow Goose-no cranes) and while out one day my wife noticed five black

We had a female Blackburnian Warbler (#117)--good look, right outside
kitchen window in crabapple--in yard Sunday morning. There was a second
