This morning we were able to confirm that which we have suspected all summer
long...that we have had breeding Yellow-billed Cuckoos in our yard. They are no

Today after leaving Westcliffe (we did the fieldtrip that Brandon already
reported on) Tammy and I stopped by Holcim Wetlands near Florence (Thank you
for the directions to the spot to Rich Miller and others). We arrived about
9:50 am and ran into Mr. Maynard and Mr. Drummond as they
Larry was simply one of the best, both as a birder, and more
importantly as a human being. He will be greatly missed.
