I want to invite you to attend an inaugural birding and nature festival which
will be happening in Colorado Springs over the second weekend of May: the Pikes
Peak Birding Nature Festival. Aiken Audubon is one of the founding festival

For the record, one of our local birders, Dotti Russell, found two Evening
Grosbeaks eating elm tree seeds in her neighborhood; Jane Stulp and myself
were also able to see the birds. This was a great sighting and not an easy
one as the grosbeaks were blending well into the heavily-seeded elm
