Hi COBirders,
Warblers are migrating. First thing this morning at Clear Spring Ranch I banded
my second Northern Waterthrush of the week, and FOS Wilson’s Warblers (2), FOS
MacGillivray’s Warbler,(not unusual per se, but firsts and a little early).
Also had probable migrant Yellow Warblers
Yesterday I found 4 Gunnison Sage-Grouse on Rd 26, Sappinero Mesa Road. They
were seen in two separate sightings: the first one was a single bird flushed
about a quarter mile off of Rd 26 on Rd 3014c, the second one 3 flushed birds
on Rd 26 at mile 6.
I also saw a male Townsend’s Warbler in
