We had another good day, with 54 new birds of 16 species. Here's the

We had a fairly 'regular' day of banding at Chico this morning. No
first-record captures this time (or even first of season species), just a
steady stream of mostly *Wilson's Warblers* after a slow start. About 2/3
of the Wilson's Warblers we banded today were hatch-year females.
Our totals
The last two days of banding at Ridgway State Park went well, with 22 birds
on Thursday and 23 birds on Friday. With the colder morning on Friday came
our first-of-season Audubon's Warblers, bringing our total species count up
to 32. Also, on Thursday we passed 200 birds, giving us a final
