Sorry for the late report but I want camping right after this trip. My sis
Lauren Burke and I and our daughters and two other gals birded the area
Saturday. Trip list provided by my daughter, Anna. We also drove out on the
birding tour a bit.
We also had a hummer that I didn't get a pic of and
My husband and I camped in Picture Canyon over the weekend. Rose-breasted
Grosbeak male, American Redstart male, Painted Bunting male and female. Not
sure how much these birds range, but I saw a single female at our camp, the
pair about 3/4 mile down the trail near the cliffs with the gated slot
Forgot to fix the list. We had a "Krider's" Red-tailed Hawk, not a Rough-legged.

Hi all, in light of Duane's post, I'll add mine.
Tuesday morning a small flock 8-10, of White-faced Ibis flew over my yard. I'm
near Smoky Hill and Chambers in Aurora. (As of September 10th).
