Hi Antonio, after the latest changes from yesterday, I currently don't experience any problem (although of course I can't test 100%). Is it possible to strip down your example and sent it in the list, so that we can reproduce the problem - this would really help in finding the source of the bug.

I think you misunderstood me. When running the WAR file (in the webapps directory) with the tomcat server.xml variable UNPACK_WAR set to FALSE, tomcat is not supposed to unpack the war file at all. It does however create a work directory so that it can create temporary files, etc. However in order

Thanks for the info. Im not sure that I need to fill out a Bugzilla report since I have investigated further and have found: 2.0.1 - does not work 2.0.2 - does not work 2.0.4 - works when the UNPACK_WAR variable is set to false. So I guess this is a warning to people using older versions. Thanks

hi, thanks for the response, for me hello.jpg is working, too. perhaps i have not explained it correctly, but the samples/welcom-svg page does not work for me, more exactly all svg images using not http://www.w3.org/2000/svg"; are working fine. so does samples/welcome-svg works for you, too?

Greetings all,   From our discussion last December, it seems clear to me that most of the subprojects are not interested in becoming top-level projects.  It also seems clear that people are interested broad based representation in the XML PMC.   I think that the best way to improve the issue
