newbie question

Hi, I have run into this problem while installing codaserver in my 6.1 redhat(kernel 2.1.12) box. When I tried the last step under setting an SCM server which goes like this "createvol-rep rootvolume E100 /vicepa" I got the following message. [root@server1 /root]# createvol_rep rootvolume E0

Aaargh, I just found the answer to my question about user.coda and groups.coda formats. There are examples in appendix 18 (/usr/doc/coda-doc-5.2.0/html/manual-18.html#ExampleFiles, if you installed the coda-doc RPM). Sorry I wasted your time asking this question. -- Quinn Weaver Software

I am new to the coda system, and have run into a bug. Upon initial setup of a server side installation, I am getting an odd error. The server has an ip address of 192.168.1.20 so hopefully there isnt any resolution via ip address. Anyhow here is where I am stuck.. # createvol_rep bubonic E0

After getting some data moved onto the coda filesystem, I have done a few backup/restores. I am quite impressed with the efficiency. However, I'm wondering if I'm missing something on the restore. I do a 'volutil restore filename /vicepa' and make a mountpoint for the data. However, to get thin

How stable is the current version of Coda? It seems like the web site is not updated very often. I'd like to try it out at work, but if the code is still alpha, I don't want to have to spend my time debugging when NFS is pretty stable for what we want to do. Thanks for anyh help. Jiann-Ming Su
