In 2010, we definitely recorded things and then made them available. I think folks hopped on IRC and put in questions in realish time. (Things line up funnily half a world away. :) ) The talks are still linked and accessible from http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/KohaCon2010 Now if you want live streaming, that may or may not happen. Basically, it depends upon the hosts. Nancy Keener should know for certain. Cheers, Brooke

Good morning/afternoon! Does anyone know if KohaCon is going to have any of the sessions available via webcast? Thanks! I'm the Frenchman, and I plan to come with some French cheese, definitely. Last time I came to Texas, for KohaCon09, it was not a problem at the border as long as they're properly packed. I also will come with 1 bottle of French wine (the maximum I legally can have) See you here then ;-) -- Paul POULAIN - Associé-gérant Tel : (33) 4 91 81 35 08 http://www.biblibre.com Logiciels Libres pour les bibliothèques et les centres de documentation

And I understand that at Evergreen conferences one can find Finnish salted licorice, which is quite the conversation starter. But, folks, probable absence of cheese and near-certain absence of licorice notwithstanding, you should definitely come. I'll probably even be bringing homemade cookies to share Thursday or Friday night. I'll consult with Chris so the cookies will pair well with the beer, in the unlikely event that there's still beer left by Thursday or Friday. [CODE4LIB] Kohacon13 - You should come
Would you like to hear the history of Koha presented by a NZer and and Frenchman? You can listen as we alternate between accents, there is a real chance you will understand neither of us :) But seriously, Kohacon is a free conference, held every year. This year it is in Reno, NV. Last year was Edinburgh UK, Thane India 2011, Wellington NZ 2010, Plano TX 2009 etc. http://koha-community.org/kohacon/kohacon13/ It is a chance to get together with Koha users, developers, and other interested people and talk about Koha, and to a lesser extent FOSS in the library world. It is a free conference, I will be bring NZ craft beer ... what more could you want? Chris
