The installer is created to flash the phone from the sdcard. There are a few files, qi.img, kernel.img, rootfs.img, those are the one you can also flash using dfu-util, where qi.img is the bootloader, kernel.img is the kernel (uImage) and rootfs.img is the jffs2 file. Ghislain Patryk Benderz
