you should try one of the snapshots, located at
http://dashi-x02.karadog.net/~lihouyu/qtextended/snapbuild/
It looks like you are using the 'released' version, without the patches
(which are in snapshot builds only).

If I rename it as .ogg, its not recognized as audio/media file.
