Another upgrade to consider is the installation of the IIsi ROM SIMM
(fairly rare, I'm afraid) that eliminates the need for Mode32. Note
that you need to perform a fresh system installation for any
Macintosh after installing the SIMM.
That's necessary for 7.0 thru 7.1.
For 7.5.3 and higher an
I have find now the disk 4.3 for use Iomega Jaz with OS 7.x , If it's useful
for someone I can make a image disk and send to some FTP old Mac
The driver works with Classic I, then I try it with Mac Plus but I think
woks also
I had the Mac driver in the original disks of Jaz :)))

When working with old Systems, you really only need the System, the Finder
and, because you're playing games, Sound and Mouse. These and the game
oughtta fit on one floppy.
u... don't think so. The game is 660K and none of my shufflings
can fit it, the system and finder on one floppy.

HQX is the extension for BinHex, available in various places all over the
web. Either a .bin or a .sea version will work.
Google searches reveal:
ftp://ftp.cc.utexas.edu/depts/AI_ATTIC/HelpDownloading/MacCompactors/BinHex/binhex.bin
I have found the solution using Stuffit Expander 4.01 , I had problems with
3.6 lite version that could not unstuff *.hqx file

I would suggest getting a second floppy drive with the OS on one and the game
on the other. Or using something like RamDisk, which can be found at Gamba's
site.

Hi:
Got a question. Can I use the HD in the LC 580 with the SE 30 that I own.
If not, should I look for a new HD? I want to get rid of the striction HD
in the SE 30.

The 580 is an IDE machine. The SE/30 is a SCSI.

Sorry, it wasn't me!
Actually though, I've got a 512k and an SE I want to get running and I need
a bit more advice on them. Maybe you can tell me a few things
The SE has a 20MB HD and 4MB RAM
Is there a size limit on the internal SCSI HD size for the SE? Junkyard
Jeff's has some up to 1 GB
Well Gary,
First, if I remember correctly, the size of the HD is determined by the
system software rather than anything hard wired into the machine
itself. Post that one up on the list for a sure answer. If you are to
replace the floppy drive, you would need ROMs from an SE FDHD (which
