It comes to me as a flat unformatted mail document. My settings
are DIGEST NOMIME, so if you are getting it in MIME format, that
may be the reason.

Sometimes I say to my clients: Do you want it fixed or do you wnat to
know what went wrong? The latter will cost you more.
As has been pointed out on this list before, Macs tend to hold up longer
than Windows machines. I think some of this is due to the quality of the
equipment, and some of it is because unlike MS, the Mac OS and now OS X
does not force the antiquation of the equipment.
