I just read about Flash-related problems caused by the latest patch.
Suggested solution is to download a previous version and install it,
replacing the current (r115) version. Gossip is that r48 was more stable.

newer version of QuickTime (7.04 vs. 7.2) than you do. That does not
explain your YouTube problem.

That looks like a good direction for troubleshooting. First clear out any
and all preference settings and registry entries. If that fails I would
try a complete uninstall of all all Shockwave components followed with a
fresh install. You should be able to find a tech note at Adobe on these

First, I guess that YouTube is showing a video, not a flash, that I
can't view. But none of the videos nor the flash files can I view on
YouTube, but I can view both on other sites.
