When an LCD is not at its native screen resolution it is not sharp. They are tuned for a specific resolution. CRT's are unbelievably sharp! LCD's are sharp I have an LCD TV. But do not forget CRT's are not just TV's they are much sharper and have a better resolution than TV's. Stewart At

CRT's are still readily available. Look at NewEgg, Tiger Direct and a few others. The big difference is that their prices are way down. I prefer a CRT because I can adjust the screen resolution to what I want, not what is native to the LCD screen. I presently have a 19" for what a 14" cost
