Are you sure that there isn't a short circuit _inside_ your Dell? or Mac? That's a lot of drives to lose in such a short time. Maybe the UPS is faulty--or surge suppressors--or a bad circuit. One or two power surges aren't likely to knock out all those drives, especially at different times. W
