don't see how it could be google desktop. I've been using Overdrive on
my mac for months. Just downloaded and mounted the dmg without a

and seems pretty nice. I'm using it for downloadable aubiobooks from
my library and will install Quicken 2007 that I need for a voluteer

artists etc. You do need the latest iTunes, but it is much less of a
dog on Windows than it was.

In the Macbook the slots are very easy to get to. Just two levers in the
battery compartment.

as the laptop's you could do both.
Your daughter must have upgraded to Leopard on the mac to get Time
Machine. A few of the reviewers of Leopard have said how cool Time
Machine is, but that they would still rely on SuperDuper for backups.

first week back at VCU. I was able to pull the
drive, use SuperDuper to back it up to the firewire, backed mine up
to the firewire, put his backup on my iBook, and send him back to
school as if nothing had ever happened. Bought myself a new Macbook
as a reward for being such a good dad.

working for a bit, but it was a firmware update that solved it. I was
