Dear Lars
When I worked in an historic house, there was an event held by a perfumer.
Scents were diffused in several rooms. To lessen the risk of residues and
spillage, the scent generator had silica gel soaked in perfume in it and a fan
blew air over the silica gel (if I remember correctly).
