My mother always made angel food cakes from a brand that had their mix in two

Pamela,
When I first started making cake mixes, I am sure I used different brands. I
think I just ended up liking DH flavors and finished textures more than
anybody else's mixes. In NC, you could get a banana cake mix. Not here in
MA. .

You can try the substitution and see if it works. Sometimes it does and
other times it doesn't. It depends on the nature of the cake you are making.
Those cakes that are light and airy, like angel food, that take a lot of egg
whites are better in the bunt pan, but the really heavy cakes, like fruit
Is there a reason why you like DH mixes? I have been trying different ones
but it is hard for me to tell a difference. I am interested in hearing your
reasons, even if it is as simple as, I grew up with DH.

Hello,
I am making a cake tonight and was wondering if you could substitute another
cake pan for a Bundt pan. I always have trouble getting cakes to come out of
the Bundt pan like they should. Someone told me that you could use a 9 x 13 pan
instead. If you do will that change the timing of the
Thanks, sweetie! I'll eventually give most, if not all of these a try. :)

I could be wrong about this, but I think the issue with wild rabbit is that
in some parts of the country wild rabbits have a disease which apparently
isn't destroyed in cooking.

I don't know about other flavors of cake, but my mother always told
me never to buy anything but Betty Crocker for my angelfood cake.
Well, as a young woman might, I thought Mom could be mistaken about
this, and I purchased another brand. It was horrible! I've never

Dawn, This may be a less than bright question,
but what if I have no stand mixer, just a hand
mixer, and thus, no paddle attachment? Am I up a creek for this recipe?
