party late, what is the difference between this opti grill vs the
George formen.
I cook for me and my 3 children so I'm going through this thread to
see if I should even purchase one or a George
much extra time.

It is spacious but it is true cannot grill bone in. Also I used mine a lot
because I have a big family and it died right after the warranty expired. It
was not worth the money for me to buy a new one. Also, I like the way
I have had it for about a year and love it. We only use it about once a week
but find it does a great job on lots of meats and sandwiches. The plates come
out quite easily for cleaning and when I bought mine at Bed Bath and Beyond,
they sold a sponge with grooves designed to help clean the

Sharon, I haven't used my grill in awhile, and cannot find the layout
of the buttons. I wrote them down, but darn if I recall where I put
them. Anyway, the Opti-Grill will beep when ready, and it will beep
when your selection is done.

I received mine today (yes, on Sunday thanks to Amazon). It seems to be
about the size of a medium sized toaster oven. You can read the instruction
