[CoTyroneMailingList] Badoney Upper Parish Church

2019-01-12 Thread Peter Kincaid via CoTyroneList
Does anyone have a history of the Church of Ireland in Badoney Parish? I get the impression that the Parish was split about 1706 with the newer church being built at Gortin (i.e. for Badoney Lower Parish). I am trying to learn more about James Chrystie, the minister at the beginning of the 1700s.

This is a lovely addition. Is it possible to make the image of the map more clearer? Perhaps breaking it in sections so one can see the lot numbers associated with the names. Thanks. Peter On Fri, Feb 8, 2019 at 6:55 AM Jim McKane via CoTyroneList < cotyronelist@cotyroneireland.com> wrote: >

Your post caught my attention because Hammond is a rare name about Londonderry and Strabane. My interest is because a Hammon might be in my direct line. John Kinkead married Anne Hammond on 30 September 1762 by Rev. Richard Waddy, rector of Cumber parish, County Londonderry. He was quite likely
