I notice that if courier sees multiple MX records for a domain with the
same preference, and one of those MX's refuses a connection, courier
does not even try the others. This shows up mainly with Hotmail, whose
MX list is:

I've heard works, but it isn't for me. The build and install go fine,
yet when I run /usr/lib/courier-imap/libexec/imapd.rc start I get this

Make sure you don't have the "mail=" option set in your userdatabase. If you
for example set it to mail=/var/mailusers/john/Maildir The defaultdelivery
option is overridden. Only set the home directory.
Further check if you have the file maildropfilter in courier's /etc

of mail seem to just hang there... and actually seem to copy, looking
