David,
We were in this exact situation. We were meeting for regular Jelly's,
and I ran into the owner of a local interactive agency. He said he
was willing to offer his excess office space for coworking, if members
paid a low ($10) drop-in rate (all of it goes towards to the owner).
It has
Hello world, coworking people!
I'm Angelo, from Italy, Milan.
I work with Massimo Carraro in the core of Coworking Project (http://
coworkingproject.com), italian largest coworking network.
Until today I've been only a passive follower of this group, but now
it's time to change!
We are working on
Heya!
So...I was really curious about some assumptions that I was making...namely
that people care more about sharing than they do privacy (in my network
anyway), but there are some trigger issues. So, after grad student Cindy
Kelly sent me an awesome survey of her own for her studies (
Like I needed an excuse to go to Italy...I wish I had more notice I'd
totally be there!!

I'd love to go too but this overlaps with a trip I'm already taking to
Mexico. Take some videos and make a fun presentation and I'll enjoy it all
when I get back.

Just curious... will there be a cost associated with your CC License on the
data? Is so, how much will it be to access the data that you are getting
from the group?
And, for those of you out there (like I was this am) who are wondering what
a CC license is it is called Creative Commons and works
This is really a cool new tool to use by the way... maybe a way for each of
us to use within our local communities to gather and then share in a large
google doc cloud computing format? ie. in conjunction with the regional
cllaboration/ alliances being formed out there?
The form that Tara
I'll be giving it away. 100%. Just attribution. :)

We do too. Complete with blankets and pillows even. Plus, I like to give
people the option to come read or watch their favorite movie when then need
to just take a break and chill out from the world.

I just randomly found this conversation through looking around in a
wandering manner through the google group.
The reason I was wandering is because I wanted to see if I had
received any more responses to my post from a week or two ago. It
took me a while to even FIND my post. Which tells me

Well, I'm a bit of a rookie here, so take this with a grain of salt,
but here's where my impression comes from:
First, I chose not to get emails from the group ... the last thing I
need are more emails that I have to wade through. So I come to the
group site to check things out when I want to,
I've said it before and I'll say it again:
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
I've been the admin for at least 50 Groups over the past 5 years. The 10
groups that made the decision to move to wikis, forums, Tangler (which is a
chatty forum), Skype rooms and other things died. Died. 100%. No more
My name is Matt Helgeson, and I'm a student working in the
Entrepreneurship program here at MSU. Right now I'm working with a
company that's starting a coworking site in Bozeman, MT called Office
Place. We're in the development stage and could really use some help
and feedback. We got a survey up
I agree. Google has the market place ... millions of people have
gmail accounts, millions of people are part of google groups (and
familiar with how they work), etc. etc. ... making it easier to join
and build membership up to the 2500 that this group is currently at.
It makes sense; the upsides
As I am sure that someone out there can submit a list of functionality to
Google... I would like to start off with asking for an easy translation
function embedded into the threads so that more people can collaborate
seamlessly.
I know that you can cut and paste but having a translation that
