Hi everyone,
I am working on a story for Mashable.com about digital tools for
coworking spaces and I'd love to hear people's favorites. Feel free to
either reply to this post or if you'd like to speak with me in person,
just let me know.
Much appreciation,

Happy to chat on what you're thinking.
Here is the reply I sent to Zoe. Thought maybe people could benefit
from reading it...Also, Cohere is probably one of the lower-tech

Internally we use IRC for member-member and uncubed-member chatting. So far
it's proven really great, and since our members are all techies to one
degree or another, they get IRC.
We're still working on the back end systems, but likely it'll be google docs

Agreed with everything in here, awesome notes. On the chat tip, we've

people to stay connected even when you're offsite. Hipchat is the easiest to
get people started, which is important for us because we're not limited to

re: IRC, one of the members wrote this instructional blog post for

Chris made a really good point here, but I can tell you from my experience

Kelly, sounds like you are off to an awesome start!
I recently read the E-Myth, a book that's been around for some time, after a

To reinforce its tagline, why most small businesses don't work, the book

Hey all, do any of you have an application for a perspective
individual to provide some information to learn if they would be a
good fit for your coworking community?
Our goal is to make sure we are not letting anyone in that will be

Alex,
Thank you thank you thank you for posting this video. It is refreshing to

Hey Mark,
At Office Nomads, we're of the mindset that applications will more likely
turn off folks who you want there than keep away folks you don't. We have a
