Hi, Peter, I had a look at tokbox and wanted to ask about this: just
suppose that *some*body wanted to run something like that through a
website and then invite people there. Like maybe my own or even like
say, I dunno, the page for the European Conference in Brussels or the

We'll try to join you as well

Great. We had the same idea here in germany. so count us in:
peter.schr...@coworking.de . We tested it with skype groupchat a
couple of weeks ago with 3 spaces and it worked fine. another tool we
could use is http://www.tokbox.com. it supports 20 users at the same
time. A good date to test it 6
Very cool. A Worldwide Coworking Wormhole MeetUP is coming together...
I'm on now, so if you want to call to test Skype video to Tracy, CA...I'm at
tracyvirtualoffice.
No one is in the office (arrrghh...) so we won't bother anyone.

We would be interested. We recently opened up a new space in
Woodbridge NJ and think it would be cool to link up. Not sure we are
tech enabled for it though. What are you thinking is needed?

A computer, web cam, and network access is all you need. Recently, mobile
smartphones have joined the mix...which is very cool.
But keeping it simple: A simple (and free) point-to-point or multipoint (I
called it our Virtual Watercooler) full time video / audio connection

This is an awesome idea. One of our group's members just told me about his
idea for an art installation similar to this yesterday. It would be a
literal interpretation of the 'what would happen if you dug a hole through
the Earth?' question, where you could look down a hole and see a monitor

Wow, if the universe loved wormholes as much as coworkers, we'd all be
toast :).
Sounds like there's a lot of interest here, perhaps enough to set up a
schedule! What does everyone think is cooler, a consistent connection
between two spaces, or a view that changes to different coworking
spaces?
Brian!
ThincSavannah is so totally in! We need a TV. But we could definitely
do that. Actually, It's kind of a step in the direction of what we
discussed in November. Virtual coworking field trip? Yeah! (I vote for
something that changes between coworking spaces. More love for
everyone.)
