Hi there, I'm not aware of anything happening in Surrey but if you're able
to pop into London for Tuttle on a Friday morning, it may be that you might
find some potential collaborators in setting your own space up. We're at
the ICA every Friday morning from 10am - http://tuttleclub.wordpress.com/
Thanks for that post Alex, we're at that stage ourselves now. We have
an intern for a couple of months this summer who's taking some of the
admin too and I don't think we'll be able to go back to doing
everything so your experience is good to have as reference for our own
decisions.

Hi Nils,
I've just started coworking in Berlin but spend most of my time in Munich at
the moment. If you want to get some input or throw some ideas around for
coworking here in Munich then I let you know about my experience in Berlin
(for what it's worth).
cheers

Just joined up after lurking for a week or so. I'm glad to be here and
very interested in the coworking idea.
I'm a finance student that will be graduating this year, so I find the
coworking concept interesting from a financial point of view. I've
been trying to crunch the numbers and I can't
I'm wondering - from others running coworking spaces - how are your
leases set up in terms of time, clauses etc? Are you offering
discounts for longer leases? Any information would be fantastic -
thanks!

We used to have something as flexible as Business Playce, but we found
out the 'let us know as soon as possible' bit led to people telling us
on the first of the month they wanted to leave (like that day), so we
have the 30 day membership agreement with 30 days notice now.

Do you guys start your thirty days on the first of the month, or every 30

I'm working on writing up my leasing agreements right now, so this is a

At Citizen Space, we go month to month, but have recently added some
incentives to signing up for a 3 month period ($25/month off rent).

Hi everybody,
even though we all pretty much know when a place is holding the energy
that fuels creativity and innovation, is there any literature, links
of like-minded architects, experiences (stories of what works and what
doesn't)?

Hi.
As one of the few architect/designers in this coworking sphere, I'll
chime in. I've had very very few architects or other building-
industry designers here in my 16 months of operation. So,
collaboration is zilch. Basically, this group of freelancers or micro-

I would avoid the term lease as in many countries this implies many

Have you ever tried to do any kind of affiliate program to attract members?
