He knows it, most probably what he meant was that Valve doesn’t run high
populated servers 24+.
Also this is what I think, while the whining side of the community keeps
begging for competitive updates to the game, these community server updates
will be delayed for a really long time. Valve oft
server, probably for performance reasons. The CS:GO browser
should work like CS:S now. TF2 should be patched to work like CS:GO does now,
not displaying or querying valve official servers.

Seems server browser is fixed. I can find any server now. Thanks a lot for this
fix I think this is great for community servers.
Now, I have a question, why is this fix only for csgo client?because by default
steam server browser protocol it’s where is the issue, has TF2, CS:S suffer

This is a major problem and needs to be fixed...
Thanks.

This change actually affects all games that use steam server browser. Issue is,
it's more noticeable on CS:GO because of the amount of my servers. The tests I
did to reach this conclusion:
That’s old, I used to use that when playing 1.6 and when I got profile link I’d
click join game.
Now privacy settings fix that, place it on Private or Friends only and it won’t
get retrieved. Unless something changed.
At the moment I am not able to test it.

Unless it’s server related it won’t be discussed here. So please stop with
spam. We got enough of it with client issues rather than server issues.
Unless you can provide profs of servers exploitation or at least any kind of
evidence avoid creating such e-mails here.
Thank you

I can confirm though TF2 is fine also it’s unrelated to the discussion as
network protocol differs

Yes, exactly I actually had the same thought, community servers are slowly
growing, being normal or custom gamemodes, not showing up in the browser is not
helping.

I see I am not the only one finding the problem, a year ago I used to find 3000
servers or around that, and now I am always around 1800 and I know it's not my
issue, I remember playing in a [RO] Server something where it was 46 players,
and it never but never shown up in server browser and I won
I’d be interested to know more about the performance, hopefully in the near
future I might want to create a 64 player server and I’d like to know if it’s
stable it self, if you can let me know more about how it handles with 50+
players I’d be thankful

I've talked to Matt T Wood on Twitter and I got a response:
@Sonic7z server perf is being looked at.
So we are not being ignore...Still it takes some time to fix it I presume so
lets wait.
RAM and CPU problems including tickrate issues.
