I recently reinstalled my cygwin installation. I was trying to compile some
project I'm working on and that used to compile fine.
But now as I go through the process of aclocal; autoconf; autoheader; automake;
./configure; make, it compiles the whole project with -mno-cygwin whereas

I have some questions about handling of sparse file in cygwin 1.5.5
onwards. cygwin makes a file as a sparse if there is a write request
beyond 128 KB from file end. I am not sure whether it is a heuristic or
some statistical fact governs the use of 128 KB. Please clarify.

Wouldn't you just want to export all _*_r symbols listed in the
Reentrancy section of info libc, which are:
_Equivalent for errno variable:_

_Locale functions:_
_localeconv_r _setlocale_r

FWIW, procps does not seem to see any processes with the 2004-Apr-11
snapshot. ps still works, but procps returns nothing. Possibly related:
/proc/PID/status is not there anymore with the snapshot.

I have done a new installation of cygwin into the C:\cygwin folder. CRON
does not seem to be waking up and executing the crontab. I have run the
cron_diagnose.sh program and it told me to run a cygcheck. Output from both
are attached.
Any help would be appreciated.
