I use a dual head display in a WinXP system. When starting startxwin.bat it
opens an xterm window that works while it is on the main display. But when I
drag it into the second display it doesn't show any characters and doesn't

I've updated the X software to 6.8.99.901 and noticed two problems
with the new X server:
1. CNTL-ALT-BKSP doesn't terminate the server cleanly. There's no confirmation
dialogue and /tmp/.X11-unix/X0 is not deleted.
However, the new server does terminate properly if I right-click the X
icon
- reconnect to the same sessione on the remote system
- result : X windows dead, consuming all CPU (50% on a 2-way SMP)
As I said , the new snapshot DLL fixes both scenarios.
Thanks for your assistance !

Hi!
More :
The system has 2 CPUs.
Sometimes the XWin.exe process consumes both to 100% :-(
The OS is Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition, SP1.

How can I get Windows fonts to appear in an application running under Cygwin/X?
When I use Cygwin/X 1.5.18 to run the Oracle Developer 9.0.4.2 on Red Hat
3.0, I'm don't see the verdana font in the field property sheets. With
Cygwin/X, I see 25 fonts beginning with clean and ending with utopia.
