Subject:Cygwin Xstart problems also
I've carefully read the FAQ and I still can't get X to start
.
I would guess that you will have to create an account in /etc/passwd
manually - the question is just how... - but I will guess that you will
have to find the SID of you domain user and add it to /etc/passwd.

I had - but I lack both skills and time.. )
BTW - I definitely understand the wish for a cross platform solution - when
you create such an application it really is much easier to maintain if you
only have one piece of sourcecode...

I can't get Xfree to work with a german keyboard. (The problems seems to
sit in front of the keyboard.) As I'm connecting to IBMs AIX, I can't use
with danish keyboard
So I proably should change my keyboard in XF86Config to a 102-key one

to combine the drivers and the xdmcp wrapper
and isolate one application in the mirror driver which would give the
wanted functionality.
mirrordrivers are allthough only supported on nt/2k/xp.

The fix has been to comment out the meta-flag statement :
#set meta-flag On
set convert-meta Off
set output-meta On
Hereafter the xterm works as expected
