For degrees, why not use ° ? That symbol needs no translation.
As for the crop dimensions, I'm not at all disturbed by the presence
in the middle, and it's obvious enough that I don't need to look for
it in a corner somewhere. So I'd say, keep it in the middle.

I was pleasently surprised to see that cropping and rotating was
showing the numbers, just a few commits ago. Then, I saw commit
bed6c5f7d2030e8a79ca02a16885226bc29094c5, which reverts that, arguing
that it breaks string freeze.
However, looking at the diff, the strings used are not translated, a
