Hi, I just implemented some first code to use GraphicsMagick for import of some additional non-RAW image formats. You find my code in new branch 'gm'. Up to now only extensions .gif, .jp2, and .jpc (so that's GIF and JPEG2000) are recognized by darktable. Further extensions could be added if need
