Oh sorry...
When I click « import » and « Image », every image in the folder are
impossible to select. But when I go throught PCManFM (Xfce) I can
right-click the image and select « Open with Darktable », everything is Ok.
I don't really know why but everything is OK now.
Thank you.

How do you open them?
What happens when you try to open them?
Do you get any error messages?
What camera?

I have no problem with the. cr2 files from my 450D and Darktable git
master. Which is your camera?

That's hard to tell without a sample. Can you provide one of your CR2
files for download somewhere?

It should. With all the information you provide it is the furthest I can
tell you. Can you provide a link to a place to download one of those files?

Indeed, it was also my impression when I first started to contribute to
this project some months/years ago.

Hi everybody,
I discovered Darktable few months ago but I just realize (today) how strong
is this software. I can contribute (give time to develop) and i am also
wondering if we can contribute in others ways like buying goodies or stuff
like that.
Thank you and good job!

I will check later at home, but I don't have many tags, nor many
filmrolls, so I doubt it will enhance that so much as for you. The
redrawing can depend much on the CPU speed. Even if with the current
processors it may be unnoticed, I don't like brute force ;)

Maybe you've heard about this, if not it is interesting to know that
SQLite 3.8 is out and has a new query optimizer which should bring some
good speed-up. This will give a bit more responsiveness to dt for free :)

I have just pushed the fix that gave me a large speed-up. Can you test
it on your side to see if it improves also the lighttable
responsiveness? For me it is very noticeable!

Hi Pascal,
I had the same pb on my "production" copy of dt (~50K photos) I've
solved this with manually adding some index to the db. I've added index
on tagged_images(tagid) tags(id) film_rolls(folder) images(film_id)
I don't think all this index are needed, but I was too lazy to test them
