Hello, I have started this discussion, so let me finish it as well. When I used darktable for the first few times I was surprised that there is no global UnDo on a user action. In the lightable part none at all. In the darkroom it doesn't reflect user action, but probably some kind of code

Thanks Rob I tried making from the source but, though technically minded, I'm not good enough to get it to work. But ... The PPA for Zesty came live overnight. This has made my week. Thank to all the developers and testers. I really enjoy the software. Cheers Alex On Mon, 17 Apr 2017, 10:08 AM

This "Document Name" is not present when exporting to file, only when exporting directly to Flickr. And it's not possible to run exiftool in this case. On Sun, Apr 16, 2017 at 5:48 PM, wrote: > On Sun, 16 Apr 2017 17:03:31 -0700 > Sergii Dymchenko

I've been a victim of my own inattentiveness and wiped all edits on images in the library. It sucked but it was my fault. It would have been nice to have either a write protect feature on edited images (my preference) or an undo. In my case, the undo was backups. On

[darktable-user] Full path "Document Name" in EXIF on Flickr export

2017-04-16 Thread Sergii Dymchenko
Hi, I noticed that when exporting to Flickr EXIF info of the exported JPEG has full path to the source file as "Document Name". I'd prefer not to expose this info, and there can be some (minor) security considerations (username on the local system can be revealed, for example). Is there an

Hi, When I define a draw & parametric mask with combine inclusive the entire image is always selected. The expected behavior is the drawn mask to be added to the selection made on the parametric mask, as when the combine exclusive the drawn mask is subtracted. As far as I can tell it works the

That doesn't solve the issue when you make wrong step in working in lightable. You like to make modifications, but you also like to make step back if you make wrong one. I wonder how all the commands are processed. If there is no undo, it may be because there is not a single queue through which

Why don't you use fixed name from the start, maybe similar what David suggested (I used the same) and add suffix for your export. If original would be something like 2017-12-23_12345.jpg your export could be 2017-12-23_12345_client1.jpg I know what would you, but across different cameras it is
