Is there a reason why the behavior of the "import folder" / "add to
library" functionality was changed in Darktable 3.6 to permit importing
from only /one/ directory or directory tree at a time? Now if I want to
import several directories, I either have to import them one at a time,
or select t
I was wanting to compile darktable for my operating system (arch). I know I
could pacman it but where's the fun in that? Any ways is there any place
with directions to doing this?

I would try reinstalling the latest version and let it uninstall any
previous version it finds. I feel the problem is that you tried to run two
versions of DT on the same machine and there are files squirrelled away by
windows associated with DT. Uninstalling a program does not remove these
files.

this specific case, it didn't work. I'll correct the 300 pictures one by
