I don't want my system slowed down just because there might sometime be a
crash but it would seem sensible to set a flag in the dB when dt starts and
unset it when it shuts down normally. If the flag is set when dt starts
then it can run some checks or just warn the user.

In my darkroom layout the left hand panel is populated with snapshots,
history, duplicate manager, color picker, tagging, image information, mask
manager and export.
With duplicate manager open it displays a thumbnail of the current image
and under it 2 buttons "duplicate" and "original". If I

is:-
Insert SD card into PC
Move the RAW image files to a //WIP/ directory on my HDD using a GUI
file manager
Start darktable
Use GUI file manager to drag

This might be 2 issues
1) Lens not identified in lens correction module
2) Lens list too long for screen and not scrollable.
1) I have a Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary lens on my Canon 7D Mark II that
does not get identified in the lens correction module. The text shown
I am interested in the solution to this. My Sigma 150-600 Contemporary is
not identified. It is in the list but not shown on screen and I can't
scroll to it. I have to put my mouse pointer on the last Sigma lens that is
being displayed and then press down arrow 5 times then "Enter". This then
