I have not been able to reproduce the problem on my testbox (Since I test this onder VMware, hardware is not comparable to the production machine). I did update the kernel with the newer version in te repositories (Now running linux-image-2.6.26-1-686, 2.6.26-13lenny2) but the problem still exists.
