to be able to use the watchdog on cloud-kernels in Bullseye and Bookworm,
yet the best would be to just compile it upstream
So please add it to the cloud kernel image, starting in oldstable / bullseye.

I just faced the same issue and monkey-patched it in my Dockerfile at build
time:

build scripts, I now check if mk-build-deps
created any *deb files

The following resolved my IPv6-Disabling issue with SSH:
1) Adding the following to your sshd_config
AddressFamily inet
2) Restart SSH
Afterwards, the SSH daemon is able to create the X11 socket and
X-Forwarding works as expected.
