Dear Maintainer,
Since upgrading to Linux 5.3, I am seeing a power usage regression.
With Linux 5.2, powertop reported an idle battery discharge rate of
between 3 and 4 W and CPU package states seemed normal (majority of time
spent in pc7).
I found the problem.
5.2.7-1 had

5.2.9-1 had
CONFIG_INTEL_IOMMU_DEFAULT_ON=y
5.2.9-2 has

Only 5.2.7-1 boots on my system.
I can successfully boot
(other
than a diff of /boot/config-5.2.0-2-amd64 and /boot/config-5.0.0-trunk-amd64).

way as a vfat one? That way once the directory structure is set up,
grubx64.efi would just be upgraded and nothing else would change =>
system continues to boot fine.

Suspend to RAM has been working (from gnome) on previous kernels

Sometimes it will suspend and resume once ok, but never twice. And

Skysentials works as expected!

Iceweasel 3 has the ability to disable plugins in the GUI (Tools -
add-ons). I want to disable libtotem-complex-plugin.so, because it fails
to play most real audio streams. I prefer to use the actual real audio
player plugin (nphelix.so). But
purpose.
That just disables all plugins, right?
The GUI must do something though - since it does complain that it's
missing plugins after disabling one.
Could whatever technique you use be adapted to specific plugins?

laptop with an i915 display controller.
It comes up again ok in all respects (I think), except the screen
