The manpage only lists that you can set moderation to auto, but
doesn't explain what this means...
I'd also suggest two settings - auto and self; where auto means
that any member-post is not moderated; and self (like in ezmlm) is to

Hi,
I'd also like to be able to ignore messages unless they occur too often,
and maybe group certain messages when they occur very often.
A typical example is
postfix/smtp: connect to mx3.mail.yahoo.com[64.156.215.18]: read timeout
Hi,
Is this maybe already in syslog-summary for some time?
At least if you use the --repeat command line option.

Hi,
I was recently having problems with my recent match to stop SSH

I was using the --rttl option in my --set line; this caused all incoming

After running gaim for a while I end up with tons of gaim processes.
They don't go away when I just quit gaim; and 2/3 still hang around

Hi,
There is a patch at
http://people.ubuntu.com/~scott/patches/syslog-summary/
from Ubuntu to use Python 2.4...
I'd think it would be useful if one could add additional grouping
patterns.
Like grouping all the incorrect ssh logins by one host.

I've been doing a couple of backports recently, and one error I frequently had

I.e. they depend on somelib (= 1.23-1) while there never was a 1.23-0
Package: hal
Version: 0.5.5.1-3
Severity: minor
Hi,
hal won't start when the PATH variable is not set.
This is a coding error in the main() function of hal;
it should verify that getenv(PATH) doesn't return NULL and handle the
case when PATH is unset gracefully.
Yes, I know that usually PATH
procmail support ~username expansion?
I don't really care anymore, though. So go ahead and just close the bug.

Please use logrotate to rotate the logfiles of ntp-server instead of

Hi,
I wanted to do a backport, but even to do a debuild -S i.e. a source

Since I was going to build the package using pbuilder, it wasn't
really necessary to do a real cleanup... it would be nice
