On my machine the new version still crashes. I tried it on another
machine though and there was no such problem. It says that artsd is
not running and just started it to run properly.
Anyway, although I didn't try another box it seems to be a problem
restricted to my box. It just fails starting

As I read in
http://packages.debian.org/changelogs/pool/main/k/kdelibs/kdelibs_3.5.3-1/changelog.txt
the kdelibs-bin package is not longer needed due to be merged with kdelibs4c2a.
A few days ago, aptitude was up to remove kdelibs-bin.
Hi,
after a dist-upgrade which removed package kdelibs-bin, the package

Package: kwave
Version: 0.7.5-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
kwave gave me a dialog box sayign it needs aRts to run.
That was last week.
Tonight it crashes on startup.
I think it is on me not having aRts installed.
If I am right kwave should probably depend on aRts.
Package: kwave
Version: 0.7.5-1
Followup-For: Bug #367036
As I just saw, the console message said sth. about KDE 3.4.3.
This is Kwave 0.7.5 (using KDE 3.4.3)
Is that supposed to be?

When choosing Y, aptitude ends up with messages seen below (E: ...).
